Shared Vision



Ensures the proper and timely placement of member tee time requests through the Chelsea Tee Time system.  Greets members and guests by name.  Ensures proper billing of members and guests.  Promotes the Club and the game of golf.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carries out the "Ibis Experience" each and every day.
  • Performs daily placement of tee time requests and implements changes to tee sheets as needed via the Chelsea System.
  • Provides instruction to members of the Chelsea System.
  • Develops tournament policies and procedures, as well as checklists and tickler files to ensure tournaments are organized.
  • Registers golfers at the Jonas point of sale system as needed.
  • Maintains reciprocal files and call for reciprocal member's bookings.
  • Checks in golfers and collect appropriate fees.  Accurately performs opening & closing procedures at the start and end of each day.
  • Works with Accounting department to properly bill and document tournament completions.  Posts tournament credit book to participants immediately following event.
  • Enforces all Club rules and regulations, including the dress code.
  • Informs and promotes all club activities and services.  Promotes activities and functions offered throughout the Club.


Other Functions

  • Assists with members and guests with merchandise questions.  Provides product knowledge of all golf shop merchandise.  Communicates ability to special order from all our vendors.
  • Supports golf shop staff when time permits with daily check-in of members and guests.
  • Supports golf retail staff when time permits with daily sales and display of merchandise.
  • Provides members and junior golf members instruction during clinics.
  • Provides members with club repair/grip service.
  • Communicates GHIN handicap program and USGA Rules of Golf when applicable.
  • Plays golf with members as time permits.
  • Assists in planning and budgeting for the Golf operation.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.



Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skill required.
  • Knowledge computerized reservations systems.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid Florida driver's license

  • PGA or LPGA Apprentice


Other Qualifications

  • Personable.
  • Able to complete tasks in a fast pace environment.
  • Integrity beyond reproach.
