Shared Vision


Provides bag, cart, and range services to members and guests. Strives to provide the best customer service to all members and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Retrieves carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside golf shop; checks carts for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety concerns.
  • Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club's rental equipment.
  • Maintains cleanliness and order in bag storage area.
  • Attends staff meetings as needed.
  • Assists members on the driving range as needed.
  • Adheres to the policy of one Bag Room Attendant stationed in the parking lot at all times.
  • Follows the policy of one Bag Room Attendant present in the staging area at all times.
  • Completes and signs closing procedure checklist.
  • Upon closing, accounts for all carts. Cleans and dries necessary carts and clubs, and replaces rakes and refills sand.
  • Picks up all trash and debris during each shift.

Other Functions

  • Greets all members by name.
  • Enforces all club rules and regulations, including the dress code.
  • Supplies carts to the parking lot area and transports carts with bags to staging area.
  • Washes and dries towels throughout the day.
  • Keeps drinking stations clean and stocked with drink mix, cups, lids, and straws at all times.
  • Washes member's golf carts upon request.
  • Cleans signs and furniture on a regular basis.
  • Performs other duties as appropriately assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid Driver's License.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the game of golf.
