Shared Vision


Provides quality instruction to members and guests of the Club. Offers a fun and entertaining environment for improving the game of pickleball. Delivers outstanding service to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner, while providing friendly, upbeat atmosphere for members to play.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the Director of Tennis the planning and administration of Pickleball programs and events.
  • Runs all Pickleball events after coordination with Director of Tennis.
  • Ensures the pickleball education programs are carried out according to Club standards.
  • Supports and coaches Pickleball employees to carry out objectives and goals directed by the Director of Tennis and General Manager.
  • Runs and supervises team play and practices. Schedules Pickleball Professionals for clinics, lessons and programs.
  • Remains current on developments in the pickleball arena and showcases Ibis as a leader of positive innovation.
  • Instructs private lessons, clinics, and team practices for members and guests.
  • Communicates court requirements for programs to Sports Concierge desk.
  • Addresses members' concerns and conveys information to the Director of Tennis.
  • Acts as leader of department in the absence of the Director of Tennis.

Other Functions

  • Prepares articles and calendar of events for Club newsletter and publications.
  • Promotes activities and functions offered throughout the club.
  • Attends functions and social events as requested by Director of Tennis.
  • Attends management meetings as Pickleball representative.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of experience as Head Professional at a similar size club. Must maintain continuing education as required by USPPA.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • USPPA L P1 Level
  • Valid driver's license

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of the game of

  • Great attitude and strong personal relation skills.
  • Good organizational skills and time efficient.
