Shared Vision


Under the general direction of the IT Director, the Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for ensuring proper technical support so that end users can accomplish business tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the recommendation and implementation of new technical solutions.
  • Responsible for end-to-end support of a small but complex network located in multiple locations supporting local and remote users.
  • Manages administration and support for corporate servers/desktops.
  • Handles incoming help requests from end users.
  • Accesses and installs appropriate upgrades, patches, drivers, etc.
  • Identifies and learns the appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
  • Ensures license compliance and documentation.
  • Performs repairs including software/ hardware installs and upgrades, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting and remediation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • A+ Certification.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • High attention to cyber security and protecting ibis systems.
  • VMware ESXi 6.7/7.0, Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 expertise.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory users and computers.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2019/Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and LAN.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware.
  • Avaya IP Office Telephone and voice mail setup/administration.
  • Application support experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • SQL Server operational support a plus.
