Summary

Responsible for following and performing the functions and policies related to the company's Accounts Payable System.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes credit applications and submits them to General Manager for approval.
  • Processes Club accounts payables invoices verifying proper approvals, account coding and amount.
  • Processes weekly and manual check runs from cash requirements to filing
  • Reconciles certain G/L accounts as requested.
  • Processes year-end 1099s as required.
  • Processes year-end Resale Certificates for Sales Tax.
  • Maintains contracts for the Club.
  • Maintains proof of insurance on all contractors.
  • Reconciles Vendor statements monthly.
  • Performs reporting and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

                       

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

                       

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills

  • Computer proficiency, including Windows, Excel and Microsoft Word.
